Wolfgang Steinkrüger & Karina - the founders of Sothis.
In 1990s, the talented couple started their business under the label "Swiss made" but in 1999, they changed it to "SOTHIS Germany" after incorporation of better quality. The company buys its movements and the hands in Switzerland from established suppliers while all other parts and the assembling are made entirely in Germany.
Spirit of the Moon : Ikarus
"Spirit of Moon IKARUS" is a 2005 model.The name is comes from the old saga of Ikarus & Dädalus.
Sothis creates a lavish silver guiloché dial.For the minute markers and roman numbers we use blue steel appliques.The ring of the moon phase is glossy silver polished. 24 ray's comes from the center of the moon like the ray's of the sun.All the hands except the the moon phase hand are also in blue steel.This model is available only in silver.

Spirit of the Moon : Osiris
Osiris is a 2005 model. The name OSIRIS comes from the old Egyptian mythology.Osiris is the incarnation of the constellation Orion, of the moon and the thejourney of the sun through the old Egyptian underworld.
With a clear design of this new Spirit of Moon "OSIRIS" Sothis follows up the newand straight design line of the last year. The hour and minute hands and the 10 hour marker appliques are filled with white SuperLuminova Blue Line. The shine during the night is blue.We enlarge the numbers of the date, so this date is very clear and easy to read.This model is available with a white or a black dial.

Beautifully decorated and adjusted Valjoux movement that comes with any Sothis model with full calender. Actual rotation of rotor is smooth to ensure that the watch is powered up at the shortest time. The sapphire crsytal at the back allows the owner the window to admire the complications at all times.
Accessories
An elegant black wooden box with polish exterior shall accompany every Sothis watch that you purchased. It also comes complete with paper and instruction booklet.
